Panic Sets In.

I guess it would have been about a year and a half ago that I woke up to a giant bubble hanging above my side of the bed. This was a bubble of latex house paint full of melted snow and it was bulging and swaying. What had happened was that there was a leak in the roof, and with the apartment above us being empty, water had been slowly collecting on the floor above, or our ceiling, depending on how you look at it. The result of this fiasco is a four foot square of missing drywall and exposed ceiling beams.
This is the only thing that is worrying me about the coming hurricane.
That there will be some problem with the roof even though we took care of that leak a long time ago.
Last year there was the tornado that ripped all the trees out of Maria Hernandez Park and downed some large branches in the back yard. And we were lucky to have that be all of the problems.
This storm sounds scary, but you know, at least we have people warning us unlike the Tornado of O'10.
Anyways, I am not too worried, we are on a hill.
And besides, only time will tell.
Right?
