Hitting Reset.

Sometimes you need to go for a walk, find a place to sit and think, and wait for your friends to invite you over for potato chips and mini candy bars. It can be as simple as that and, POOF!! You're all set to face the world again. It is times like this when, despite all the chaos and destruction (personally, emotionally and naturally) that you should look to the heavens and count your stars and blessings. Because without such kind souls, you would truly be up a creek. And not in a good way.

The Last Smile.

This is my buddy that I met one day whilst waiting to have a particularly unsettling conversation with someone. We hit it off immediately, and I haven't heard from her since.

But we shared a few jokes, and I punched her in the shoulder, it was very solid.

Moving on, I think that everything is pretty inconsequential when you get down to the nuts and bolts of things. I mean, what does it all mean and all that? 

Who cares? Right? 

That is one of many things we discussed before we went our separate ways.

She was a true friend in a time of crisis.

That is the sad, beautiful thing about crises, you really find out who ever really gave a shit in the first place.

Throat cultures I like more than most cultures.

Is your throat alright?
I woke up last night with a sore throat, like right behind my nose.
I don't feel really bad or anything, but I don't look forward to using my throat.
And also, I am laying low because I have to work tomorrow.

So I am home.
Truen went to walk Beluga.
She is going to bring home the rest of the Heroes that we didn't see.
Do you like that show?
I like it alright, some re better than others.
But you know, it is reminding me of Watchmen, and I don't know about that.

What are you going to do today?
Last night Truen got down on the ground and said she was going to have the baby right there.
On our kitchen floor.
I laughed, but then I got worried because I guess anything is possible.
And I started to think about where do we have to go to have a baby and stuff like that.
I know it will be fine when it happens, but still I don't like thinking of being stuck in traffic or something like that.

I am going to go and take the bagel out of the oven.
