What Does It All Mean?

Burger saw these paintings the other day.
They were two different shows, This one and This one.

He didn't ask that many questions about the paintings, and he looked at them for a lot longer than I thought he would.
They were totally bonkers, I couldn't even begin to figure them out.

Where does it come from?
Where does it take you?
What is in there that is so important?

If it isn't broken, don't mess with it.

Wine Before Beer.

So I had to put the painting on hold for a bit because
A) I was out of paper
and
B) I had a small cabinet building job for my friend's gallery.
(see above photo)

When I got home I cleaned the garage and put away the saws and then I started painting this:

It was a nice feeling to still have the groove I was in before my "break".
I think I am going to do a show of black paintings in March.
That's what I think.

Mouse in tha House.

Yeah, there is a mouse.
The mouse returns!
Not a helpful rat like Remmy.
A little black shadow that moves in the corner of your eye and makes you feel kind of crazy.
I pulled the stove away from the wall and found a small hole that is where they must be getting in and out through.
I plugged it with wire mesh and tinfoil, a small but effective curse and I finished the whole thing off by dusting my hands off and muttering something like, "Well THAT should hold 'em off for a while."
We shall see what happens next.

Bidness.

Oh my bros.
I am so beat.
Beat by life!

That is yet another amazing haiku for you to enjoy.
My knees are sore beyond the beyond.
I was standing on cement all day, and it killed my knees.
Now I am just sitting here with the drive but not the energy.

How are you guys doing?
Mama T has some big test tomorrow.
Light some candles for her.

Execution of an Idea.

So I use this program on my "iPhone" called Sketchbook.
It is what is says it is, a sketchbook but in full color and I can use it on the spot for ideas that I have.
So this is the sketch, and then a photo of the end product.
I should take a better photo.
But you get the gist.

I like to make these wooden pieces.
I have been referring to them as constructed paintings.
I have a small collection going.
Do you?
You should.
