I was going to call this entry "The multiplication tables" on account of how I
made two different tables this weekend.
Big deal, right?
WRONG because it is exactly two more tables than YOU made this weekend.
Or EVER!!

Anyways, I have to go make some sandwiches for dinner.

Oh my lord!

This was a long, long week.
This was an exercise in patience, tolerance,
and climbing into a hole.
Mentally.
A mental hole.

Oh my god.
I been so out of it dude.

Here are some
ways to calm a
baby down:

1. Roll the baby over and then roll him over again.
Pretend like he is slowly, slowly rolling down a hill.
And remember, ALWAYS support their tiny rolling heads.

2. Pick him up and then put him down like, 20 times in a row.

Building.
Relaxing.
Baby.
Marriage.

I have to be honest and direct.

I some how put myself into this life.
The life I have now.
And I guess I have been slowly putting these pieces together.
I didn't just wake up married with a baby.
I built this box around myself.

I have to go eat something or whatever.
Truen offered to bake me a pizza.

He is not saying much.

But they did it, and my Mom even drove through the Holland Tunnel and THEN along Canal St.

Oh my god!
I am watching Impossible Islands, it is about Dubai.
This place is built off of the profits of the oil industry.
But the oil is supposed to run out in 2016.
SO they have to figure out a new way to make money.
So the prince decides to make it the most luxurious place in the world!

But it is already considered one of the wealthiest places in the world because of the oil.

BUT the oil will run out.

So to make sure that they don't run out of money, they built an island to house the world's nicest travel destination.

Brilliant!!!

What the fuck is this!?
I am watching how they physically built this island, and that is amazing.
But equally as amazing as HOW they built it is WHY they built that in the first place?
Well we can talk more about it later.

SO I wrestled with the baby.
HE won, best 2 out of 3.

I played a long game of basketball today.
It really took more out of me than I thought possible.
WHEW!
It was an exciting game that I ended up losing, but still, it was pretty great.
There was even a jump ball!!!

Dang I heard that the Axe walked all over town today.
Did you know that?

Also I woke up this morning and the baby wasn't in his pen.
BUT! I smelled coffee...
So I went in to the kitchen and guess what!?
He made me breakfast!
There was an omelette, some sausages, potatoes and coffee!
The little guy even lit some candles.
He must have seen that on TV.
So even though he made me breakfast, I still had to ground him.
Because matches are not a toy!!!

Dude!
Today sucked!
I got a ride there this morning.
That was about the whole only good thing that happened to me all day.
Aside from coming home.

But you know, I took a bath, and I ate some meatballs.
I tried to cut my hair in the bathtub.
That was a real bad idea.

Tomorrow is a new day I suppose.

Dang dude!
Did I tell you that Truen had a baby!?
She did!
And he lives with us now.
He even came with his own power cord.
You know, so you can charge him.
I thought I could just put him in the sun, but no, he needs his own cord.

OH MY GOD!
Have you seen that show Dog Genius!?
There is this Doberman that arranges his toys in geometric patterns!!!

This dog is way smarter than my son.
So far all he does is sleep and eat and poop.
And not always in that order.

Man, I still think that would be a good match.
I have had some time to reflect, and I guess this is just what happens.
What good would it do to come back?
What would it prove?

I thought that maybe it could be his Elway season, a season to cap the career.
One last year, to build off of last year's momentum, and to pass this young Packer team on to...
Well I don't know to whom he would pass it on, maybe '96 Favre?

That is the thing that gets me, who could ever fill these shoes?
This man brought so much joy to the small north eastern city of Green Bay.
