Color is one of those things that 

has the power to instantly bring me joy and 

shut me up instantly.

Like a meatball sandwich, a soft kiss or the smell of rain.

I can't begin to understand Color's power over my brain.

I just know that I like what I like.

Recently I had to reevaluate some things.

I had been operating under the belief that I was doing right.

I still believe that I was doing that, because he comes first.

But what I realized was that maybe it is time to ease up.

The things that went down were scary for sure.

But, we made it through that storm.

And maybe it's okay now to let go.

I'm not sure, this is still a hypothesis.

-Do you ever stop to think about how you are typing and 

you just know how to spell words without even thinking about them?

This is especially impressive if you have spent the better part of the year

teaching Burger how to spell and write...

Just saying.

Anyways, things are changing all the time and I, for one, am stoked on Spring.

It is warm enough to wear a light coat.

That's great.

No no no my friend, your job is just about to start.

But then, maybe the life of a fracker is a lonely one.

Travel from down south, motel to motel, no one to call at the end of the day.

What would I even know about it?

Still, I think I would rather kill myself than kill the Earth.

But a job's a job, and that's nothing to sneeze at in this economy.

When all is said and done, you just gotta take it day by day.

Knock you down.

Do you have company?
I think we have had company staying with us since Thanksgiving.
I don't remember company staying with us when I was growing up, so it is something still kind of new to me.
It is a think that I enjoy having though.
I like to provide when I can.
Help or space, tools or ideas.
Food and a bed.

We had our friends from Ham-tram-ick stay with us fro the weekend.
They are a good couple of people to know.
They show us a good time.
But they left now.

Tomorrow is work.
The truck packed with our cargo.
The lock on the door.

This day of days.

Today was work.
It was extra work.
Extra work for me.

That is another one of my many haikus that I have written.
I am sure there are others.
Help me find them.

I swear that today I was ready to do some vigilante type maneuvers at work.
I was preparing to take matters into my own hands.
I worked with a dude that just seemed to get every single thing wrong today.

I stood in the cold rain.
I stood in the wind.
I cut my hand and was bleeding everywhere.
I hung three framed photographs perfectly.
I lifted and moved three separate crates.
Those crates were very heavy.

And I felt like I did all of these things wearing a jacket stuffed with bricks because of my "co-worker".

There were several times that I considered ditching him.
"HENRY!"
"PUNCH IT!"

And Henry probably would have.
Because he is a good co-worker.
And some things go unspoken between men.

Anyways.

Things to do inside the box.

What are you doing for Thanksgiving?
Plans with families?
Meals and stuff?

In my family we would eat and then go and see a movie.
It is a good way to not have to talk to each other.

I have not felt like doing much.
I work.
I like work.
I read and draw.
Mainly I just want to sleep and eat.

Since this is also what Truen wants to do mainly, there have been some minor skirmishes
around the refrigerator and the bed.
Nothing some antibiotic ointment and butterfly bandages won't fix.

So, I am going to be walking around later.
If you want to walk, we could walk together.
